Infirmary West Offers Free Skin Cancer Screenings
Infirmary West offers free full body melanoma skin cancer screenings to the community. The screenings, conducted by Daran Mason, M.D., are held on July 15, August 12 and September 16 from 8 - 11 a.m. at 3401 Medical Park Drive, Building 3, Suite 105 (located on the campus of Infirmary West.)
With more than one million new cases of skin cancer diagnosed in the United States each year, it is the most common type of cancer. However, with careful inspection of the skin, most skin cancer can be found early and treated successfully. In fact, with early detection, skin cancer averages a cure rate of 95 percent.
